As we all know in December 2019 the world has announced a new virous called COVID-19, this virous expended and effected quickly by injuring the entire nation. This injury is manifested in two main ways, the first is healthwise and the second is workwise, as a result of the restrictions it led the world that hasn’t moved to a digital platform to change its way of work to a digital operating model. Most the organizations that predicted the digital platform potential made out phrase “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” a true (financial) meaning.

That leads us to the “Wolt” food delivery company that founded by Miki Kuusi and his headquartered in Finland 2014. The company was built and succeeded a long time before the corona but her real blooming season was defiantly the corona season , in 2.3.2020 the list of “ 1000’s Europe Fastest Growing Companies “ was published in “Financial Time” website, “Wolt” got to be the number one company that specialized in technology and the second and very honorable overall place, after not even nominating the two previous years.

“Wolt” is a food delivery company that provides service to 2 different type of clients — the first is the costumers who wants to order food , it connects them to the multiply restaurants via mobile app or web browser and gives them a lot of comfort from the different filters that has been given, for example : cuisine , food categories , delivery times , distance and act. Another unique digital innovations advantages that adds a lot of comfort and reliability same as the 24\7 costumer service, the status tracker that provides notifications for every step of the delivery and even shows you the location of the delivery person from the moment you ordered to its arrival . The second client is a the costumers who wants to get a job , after the “Ober” system failed in Israel it made a big outbreak by working in the “Wolt” company in Israel by hiring the workers as a freelances and solving on One hand the lack of work jobs ,and On the other hand, the need for more working force in the food delivery service as a result of the restrictions that keeps a lot of citizens at home.

Wolt’s absolute growth rate stands on 15,641.9%, I believe this growth can and will be be long turm, all the suppliers and the costumers already got exposed and adapted to the social media and the digital new system. Now whats left for the organisation to pursue their growth is to sustain and keep up with the changing and developong digital innovations ,and pick up thier lemons, otherwise they’ll left behind with the ones who won’t.
